  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside personally upon ye Cure of Samford Spiny. I reside on Ernesettle in ye Parish of St. Budeaux near Plymouth I have a Licenced Curate. His Salary is £35 a year and Perquisites of ye two Parishes of Samford and Shaugh. The Curate is Schoolmaster of St. Budeaux and resides there. There is no Lecturer. St. Budeaux is situated conveniently for ye Service of each Parish.

  2. Other benefices: I have ye Vicarage of St. Budeaux in this Diocese; and ye Curacy of Shaugh which is united to Samford Spiney. I am also vicar of Runcorn in Cheshire.

  3. Divine service at other churches: The Curate performs Divine Service at Shaugh every Sunday alternately Forenoon and Afternoon.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed once every Lords Day with a Sermon.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administred four times a year. There are about twenty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: Generally every Summer or every other Summer.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancel are in good repair, and there are all Things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There are no Glebe Lands, save a House and Small Garden.

  9. Number of families: There are only about twenty five Families.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no reputed Papists in my Parish, nor any Dissenting meeting Houses of any Denomination.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no Public School in the Parish, nor alms House or Hospital, or Library.

  13. Charity: There is a small annuity payable to ye Poor, and I believe it is duly applied.
